53 Days Until Video Game Release
Naughty Dog has posted some new images to the follow up to one of my favorite video games of all time. Uncharted 2. The first game, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Naughty Dog created incredibly realistic jungle environments for Nathan Drake to inhabit. The scenery was incredible and really showed off the capabilities of the PS3. Last year saw the release of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, where it took Drake to India, China and the Hymilayas, which showed off some great graphical improvements including grand cityscapes, lush jungles and mountainous snow covered terrain. It looks like the third outing in the Uncharted series will take us into the dessert and it looks amazing! Just take a look at these environment shots!
I love the stylized look. It reminds me of Raiders and Star Wars, which is great for these games, which are essentially a modern serial. I am looking forward to seeing what Naughty Dog does graphically with the next game, but where these game really shines is in the storytelling and i cannot wait to see what “Drake’s Deception” means for the character. I hope this much beloved character does not go bad, i would hate for that to happen.
It looks like they changed up the design on Drake a little bit. He looks like a pissed off Nick Lachey. For those of you who are fans of the game, you will get your first sneak peek of the game play on monday night.
You know that I’ll be watching!!

I do not think that i have ever played a video game based on a movie that was any good. This game did not look that great when the teaser was released, but looking at this video, i cannot wait. If it gets halfway decent scores, i will totally pick this up. If the movie looks half as awesome as this video game does, i am going to explode.
