As you all are well aware, i love Star Wars. Always have. And even though i have owned 7 different versions of the classic trilogy, I am excited about the release of this Friday’s Star Wars Complete Saga on Blu-Ray. I know that George Lucas is a maniac who cant leave “well enough” alone, but I still like the characters and the worlds they inhabit. Say what you will about the prequels, but if there are lightsaber battles and star fighters I will continue to watch them!!
On Sunday 9/18 at 7am (pst), I will be watching all VI episodes of the Star Wars series and live tweeting all the changes and “upgrades” that George Lucas has decided to put in this release of the films. George Lucas is like that aging jock that can’t stop talking about the big game back in ’87, and annually returns back to the field of his greatest victory and sits in the stand, recounting to the waitress he just picked up in a bar about how he once was “king of the world.”
